1+1/2 large cucumbers, *salted, seeded, dried and diced
About 1 large Tablespoon kosher salt for salting (drying) cucumbers
About 1 large Tablespoon finely chopped *fresh dill
Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
Hand Mix in Large Bowl Until Completely Blended Together
Put it back in the Container it Came In
Let Stand in Refrigerator Overnight (Absolutely a MUST)
Devour
The Sauce as Made Above has Lasted
up to 2 Weeks in the Fridge
It is Best to Get
as Much of the Water Out of the Cucumbers and the Yogurt as Possible (it lasts
longer)...so lay the Cucumbers out on Paper Towel and Pat them Dry Before and
After Cutting...and Let the Yogurt Strain for 20 Minutes...if You Do Not Have a
Strainer Just Put it on Paper Towels and let it sit on Each Side for 10 Minutes.
Dealio:
This sauce will be very silky rich so what I do is put it
back in the container it came in and when I want to use it I mix 50% Fat Free
Sour Cream with it + Additional Salt and Pepper to Taste...Perfect for Me...You Might Like it That Rich;0)
Variations:
Why Mess with Perfect?
